Eric is originally from the Philippines, but grew up in Douglasville, Georgia. He is a graduate of Lithia Springs High School. After completing his service and a medic and paratrooper in the United States Army, he went on to receive his degree in Physical Therapy from the Medical College of Georgia. He also has a Masters’ degree in Business Administration from Mercer University.
Eric is certified as an orthopedic clinical specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. He also holds specialties as a strength and conditioning specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and as a specialist in golf fitness instruction and golf medicine by the Titliest Performance Institute. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and its Orthopedic section. He is also a member of the Physical Therapy Association on Georgia.
Eric and his wife Michelle have 2 children, Caleb and Norah. They are members of Holy Family Catholic Church. In his spare time, Eric helps to coach his son's sports teams, play golf, paddleboard, and travel.
